Officials from the Yan Oi Tong charity organisation and a Tseung Kwan O primary school presented souvenirs to Senior Superintendent (Crime Kowloon East) Peter Barnes and officers of the Regional Crime Unit 1A Kowloon East on January 25 for cracking an indecent assault case.

Chief Inspector Andrew Boulton of RCU 1/KE said it was vitally important to provide a professional follow up service to help the victims go through their ordeal, adding that Senior Inspector Fan Wing-hong of RCU 1A/KE and his team members had done an excellent job.

As a result of the case, SIP Fan now has built up a close relationship with the Yan Oi Tong organisation and its schools and has been invited to attend the schools' open days and charity activities as a guest of honour.
