A three-member delegation from the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) headed by its Director General, Mr Hermann Brüner, paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Tang King-shing on March 18. Other members of the delegation included Mr Paul Lachal Roberts, Adviser to the Director General, and Mr Alessendro Butticé, Head of the Spokesman, Communication and Public Relations Unit.

On the same day, the guests also visited the Complaints and Internal Investigations Branch, Commercial Crime Bureau and Police Public Relations Branch and were briefed on the units' work.

OLAF's mission is to protect the financial interests of the European Union and fight fraud and corruption. The delegation was visiting Hong Kong to strengthen mutual understanding and co-operation with the Force, the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Department of Justice.
