Kowloon East Regional Commander Blaine Hoggard presented retirement souvenirs, Police Long Service Medals and Clasps, Meritorious Service Certificates, Commanding Officer's Commendations, and retirement souvenirs to 80 police officers and civilian staff from the Region at a ceremony on March 28.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr Hoggard thanked the officers for their dedication, loyalty and commitment to the Force and the HKSAR Government and highlighted a number of achievements for which the Region had earned deserved recognition over the past year.

He took the opportunity to outline the Kowloon East Regional Action Plan 2008 which had been formulated to support CP's Strategic Directions and Operational Priorities. He also emphasised the need for full support, teamwork and commitment by officers at all levels.
