Strong support by Police College

The Police Track & Field Championships took place a day before the Police College's latest passing-out parade. To support the Force's promotion of a healthy lifestyle, the college fielded a strong team of athletes, including five Probationary Inspectors on the parade, as well as a cheering team comprising Recruit Police Constables and Probationary Inspectors from the passing-out squads.

The Police College athletes and squad members reaped good results in various events. Besides the outstanding performances of WPI Cheung, Probationary Inspectors Man Yu-ching and Heung Tsz-kin also won gold in women's 400m and men's javelin throw respectively.

In addition to capturing the title of the 4x400m Formation Promotion Relay, the Police College's men and women relay teams, comprising both PIs and RPCs, also pulled off a total of two silver and one bronze medals.
