The full horror and scale of loss of lives, and the devastating effects, of the worst earthquake in more than 30 years to hit Sichuan on May 12, have touched the heart of everyone of us. The death toll is rising, while tens of thousands have been injured or rendered homeless. They are in desperate need of help to survive and rebuild their homes.

To assist the earthquake victims, the Personnel Wing coordinated a Force-wide urgent collection of voluntary donations between May 16 and 23. All the money collected will be donated for relief operations through the Hong Kong Red Cross.
