To make officers more aware of remaining fit and healthy, Mong Kok District (MKDIST) recently approached the Princess Margaret Hospital Resources Centre for assistance in conducting a health check for officers from the District.

Conducted in the Mong Kok Police Station, the health check covered tests of glucose (blood sugar), cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI and body fat. A total of 323 officers and civilian staff took part in the health check at a reasonable charge.

Mong Kok District Commander Steven Carruthers has thanked Princess Margaret Hospital and volunteers from its resources centre for conducting the health check.
