To gear up for the challenge of the upcoming Olympic Equestrian Events in August, Airport District (APTDIST) initiated and arranged a multi-agency Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) exercise, codenamed Exercise BLUE MOUNTAIN, on the early morning of June 5 at the Terminal 2 of the Hong Kong International Airport.

Taking part in the exercise were 150 personnel from the Airport Authority, Fire Services Department, EOD, EU NTS, UB and ASU APTDIST. The exercise tested the participants' response to emergencies, and concluded successfully with their teamwork and professional co-operation.
