A total of 32 serving and retired disciplined and civilian officers were honoured in the 2008 Honours List announced on July 1.

Heading the list of police recipients is retired Deputy Commissioner Fung Siu-yuen, who has been awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star.

Among the other recipients, one has been conferred with a Medal for Bravery (Bronze), two with Police Medal for Distinguished Service, 23 with Police Medal for Meritorious Service, one with Medal for Honour and four with Chief Executive's Commendation for Government Service.
