To heighten airport staff's awareness of crime prevention, the Airport District (APTDIST) and the New Territories South (NTS) Regional Crime Prevention Office (RCPO) conducted a seminar on June 18 when Senior Inspector Lin Wing-ho, Police Community Relations Officer APTDIST, and Sergeant Ho Wai-lim from RCPO NTS shared their experiences of crime prevention with members of the airport community, including the Airport Authority, airlines, logistics companies, security, retail operators, restaurants, and cleaning agencies.

Discussions focused on the crime trend in APTDIST, the modus operandi of theft, deception and other crimes as well as prevention measures. The audience also raised many questions during the Q&A session and exchanged experiences in a relaxing ambience. This interaction between the APTDIST and its airport partners will certainly contribute to maintaining the Hong Kong International Airport's outstanding reputation.
