The annual Display of the Mace Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Police College on June 6 in memory of the late Sir Shiu Kin Tang.

Officiating at the ceremony, Commissioner Tang King-shing reminisced the late philanthropist's contributions to police staff welfare and thanked his family for their continuous support for the Force.

Sir Shiu Kin's widow, Lady May, son, Richard, and daughter, Yvonne, were present at the ceremony.

Donated by Sir Shiu Kin's family as a symbol of his close relationship with the Force, the silver mace is used by the Police Pipe Band at all major official functions.
