Commissioner Tang King-shing presented letters to nine officers on August 5, confirming their promotion to the ranks of Senior Superintendent and Superintendent.

Promoted to Senior Superintendent are Mr Chan Ka-kit, Ms Ng Suk-fun, Mr Wise Choy, and Mr Yau Kwok-yui. Mr Wong Kwong-hing, Mr Ho Wai-hong, Mr Lau Kit-man, Mr Mak Chin-ho and Ms Chan Yee-lai have been promoted to Superintendent.

Mr Alick McWhirter, who was on overseas duty visit at the time of a previous presentation, received at this presentation the letter confirming his promotion to Superintendent.
