CP presents commendation and promotion letter |

At a ceremony held at PHQ on December 4, Commissioner Tang King-shing presented Commissioner's Commendation (CPC) to three officers and a promotion letter to Senior Superintendent Ng Kam-kei, who had missed the last presentation ceremony as he was on a Mainland course. Presented with the CPC were Woman Superintendent Ho Yuen-ha, Chief Inspector Wong Chung-chun and Station Sergeant Wong Kam-wah. WSP Ho and SSGT Wong have been commended for displaying leadership, tenacity and professional ability of an exceptionally high order during investigation of the murder of a woman newspaper vendor in Sham Shui Po in September 1999. CIP Wong has earned the CPC with the leadership, tenacity, professional ability and devotion to duty of an exceptionally high order he displayed while investigating the chopping of a seven-year-old boy at Lei Muk Shue Estate in August 2005. Earlier at another CPC ceremony in late October, CP commended Superintendent Kwok Kang-shing, Chief Inspector Chow Chong-wai and Inspector Tse Siu-sum for their outstanding performances and devotion to duty in connection with the same chopping case. On the same occasion, CP also presented his commendation to Police Constables Chan Cheuk-kai, Kwong Wai-shing, Cheung Wa-hung and Leung Chun-sau for their outstanding performances in separate cases of cracking drug trafficking and triad syndicates. |
