NTS Regional Sports Day
The New Territories South (NTS) Regional Sports Day took place in the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 20 when over 800 officers took part in an array of sporting events, including football, basketball, tug-of-war, running, table tennis, volley ball and swimming.
To promote "Physical Fitness and Health Management", the Sports Day also featured additional interesting games and competitions, including design of sports shirts for competitors, in a bid to provide an opportunity for the participants to show rapport and co-operation, and to ease the excitement brought by stiff competition.
At the end of the day, Sha Tin District captured the Major Formation Championship and Police Tactical Unit "A" Company clinched the Minor Formation Championship.
This annual event concluded with NTS Regional Commander Tse Shu-chun presenting trophies to the winners, successfully driving home the message of leading a healthy lifestyle.
