The annual Dowman Road Race will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Pak Tam Chung, Sai Kung. The 12.5-km racecourse will be the same as that of last year, starting at the Sai Kung Man Yee Road junction of Sai Wan Road, heading towards the Main Dam, making a U-turn at Ngam Tau and finishing at the Pak Tam Chung Picnic Site. Shuttle bus services will run from PHQ, Kowloon Tong MTR Station and Yuen Long Police Station to Pak Tam Chung on the race day. A race circular has been posted on Force NoticeBoard and Police Athletics Club (PAC) website (www.hkpac.com). Interested officers, including regular, auxiliary and civilian staff, may approach their Training and Staff Relations Officers or Formation Sports Coordinators for online registration between December 22 and January 9. A consolidated list of participants will be announced before January 21. Retired officers may contact Mr Tang Hon-chuen, OC GR PTU HQs, on 2669-6214 for registration.
