Force booth a hit at Careers Expo
The Force's booth at the Education and Careers Expo held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from February 19 to 22, attracted thousands of young men and women showing a great interest in police work and in joining the Force.
During this four-day event, officers from the Airport Security Unit, Police Dog Unit, Police Tactical Unit, Emergency Unit and Traffic Formation also briefed the visitors on their work, and introduced their equipment. A mini range was set up at the Expo, where Weapons Training Division officers demonstrated the use of police firearms.
In addition, an instructor from the Physical Training and First Aid Unit introduced the Force's physical training programme, while officers from the Police Recruitment Division and the Auxiliary Police Force handled the visitors' recruitment-related enquiries and on-the-spot applications.
