HKAP Dragon Boat Team starts training
The Hong Kong Auxiliary Police (HKAP) Dragon Boat Team started training recently when more than 30 existing and new team members, led by the Team Manager, Acting Chief Inspector (Aux) Zai Tah-lam, and Deputy Team Manager, Acting Chief Inspector (Aux) Chow Chi-keung, attended the first training session of the season at Sai Sha Wan. Despite chilly weather, everyone took part in the training with great enthusiasm and team spirit.
The training session came to a climax when HKAP Commandant, Mr Kwok Chi-shun, and Deputy Commandant, Mr Yiu Yeung-lung, jointly officiated at the team's launching ceremony. Everyone present was inspired by Mr Kwok's words of encouragement, and pledged to try their best in this year's competitions.
