APTDIST compliments flight attendants
Airport District (APTDIST) Commander Siu Chak-yee presented letters of appreciation to five flight attendants from Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragonair on September 9 for assisting the Police in apprehending two male passengers for possession of dangerous drugs and another male passenger for theft.
Praising the five flight attendants for their professionalism, initiatives and devotion to duty, he said they had set a good example of how members of the airport community could help the Police prevent and detect crime. "I'm really impressed by their resourcefulness and alertness," he noted.
He also thanked the security departments of both airlines for maintaining close liaison with the Police for combatting crime.
