Muslim EID Party in Wong Tai Sin
To further communication with the non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community, Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST) Police Community Relations Office, together with the Caritas Jockey Club Integrated Service for Young People - Wong Tai Sin, held an Eid-Ul-Fitr (EID) Party for about 80 NEC residents to celebrate completion of their Ramadan at the Wong Tai Sin Junior Police Call (JPC) Clubhouse on October 4.
During the party, the guests were briefed on the organisation and activities of the JPC scheme and the work of WTSDIST, and treated to folk dances by NEC youths. Highlights of the day were performance by the Police Magic Club, ethnic hand drawing, and a lucky draw.
After enjoying Pakistani cuisine at the JPC Clubhouse, the participants left with a better idea of the JPC scheme and police work.
An NEC representative thanks Wong Tai Sin District for organising the EID Party to reinforce relations with her community
