New Territories South Region Sports Day
A total of 800 officers of New Territories South (NTS) Region took part in their Annual Sports Day at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on October 9, enjoying a wide range of sporting events, including football, basketball, tug-of-war, running, table tennis, volleyball, and swimming. A series of "fun" events were also offered for the less athletic, which proved highly entertaining.
Another highlight of the day was a football match between Regional Headquarters and District staff. As well as supporting Physical Fitness and Health Management in the Region, both sides clearly enjoyed displaying their skills and after a tense, hard fought game, Regional Headquarters won 2-0.
At the end of the day, Tsuen Wan District and Airport District captured the Major Formation Championship and the Minor Formation Championship respectively. The event concluded with NTS Regional Commander Tse Shu-chun presenting trophies to the winners, thanking all for their support, and encouraging officers to take up a sport in their spare time.
