In order to attract more readers and make its content more interesting, OffBeat plans to carry more photos and touching stories of Force members. OffBeat also plans to introduce some new features, starting next year, including a "Cops Talk" column to provide a forum for officers at all ranks to share their experiences and encourage each other, as well as an "Appreciation Corner" column to convey the views of the public regarding the Force and its members. In addition, OffBeat's e-version will have multi-media contents including video links catering for different types of readers. Force members are welcome to assist OffBeat with this new initiative by contributing articles as well as related videos.
