In the Police Annual Swimming Gala held on November 14, a total of nine Force records were smashed. As in previous years, the highlight of the gala was the Directorate Officers' Relay. After very close competition, the team paired up by Assistant Commissioner Lo Wai-chung and Chief Superintendent Ng Ka-sing captured the championship with a new record of 1 minute and 20.39 seconds.

Police College carried away the trophies for Men Formation Overall Champion, Women Formation Overall Champion and Best Participating Formation whilst New Territories South Regional Headquarters clinched the prize for the Best Cheering Team.

In individual events, the title of Man Individual Championship went to Inspector Li Kar-wai from Eastern District whilst Woman Police Constable Ma Hoi-ying from Marine Region won the Woman Individual Championship.
