KE Region presentation
Kowloon East Regional Commander Suen Kwai-leung presented retirement souvenirs, Police Long Service Medals and Clasps, Meritorious Service Certificates and Commanding Officer's Commendations to 87 officers, including police officers and civilian staff, at Auxiliary Police Headquarters on December 2.
Mr Suen thanked the recipients for their dedicated, long and exemplary services to the Force and the HKSAR Government over the years. He took the opportunity to highlight the 9.9 per cent of decrease in overall crime recorded in 2008 and updated officers on the progress of his Regional Action Plan for this year.
Mr Suen also pointed out that as a result of KE officers' dedication, loyalty and commitment, a 5.6 per cent decrease in overall crime was recorded in the first 10 months of 2009, compared with the same period in 2008.
