Meanwhile, Commissioner Tang King-shing presented letters to eight officers on March 5, confirming their promotions to Senior Assistant Commissioner (SACP), Assistant Commissioner (ACP) and Chief Superintendent (CSP).

Promoted to SACP are Mr Hung Hak-wai and Mr Tang How-kong; to ACP are Mr Kevin Woods and Mr Fan Sik-ming; and to CSP are Ms Chu Ming-po, Ms Cheng Shuk-chun, Mr Duncan McCosh and Mr Lam Yiu-wing.
