Students welcome anti-drug project

Kowloon East Regional Crime Prevention Office launched an anti-youth drug abuse project called "Sunshine" with a sharing session held during a barbecue in a secondary school in Tseung Kwan O on February 4.

The session attracted over 60 students and teachers, who heard two rehabilitated young drug abusers from the drug rehabilitation centre of the Barnabas Charitable Service Association, recount their bitter experiences with drugs. The speakers hoped that their experiences would spur the students to stay away from drugs.

The students generally welcomed the sharing session and hoped to see more similar events in the near future.
