Singapore delegation calls at Force
A 29-member delegation led by the Chief Executive of the Singapore Home Team Academy (HTA), Mr Derek Pereira, called at Police Headquarters on May 17. Meeting the delegation was Deputy Commissioner (Management) Lee Ka-chiu.
The delegation also met Director of Personnel and Training Tang Hau-sing, Police College Director Kevin Woods and officers from the college, Liaison Bureau, Narcotics Bureau and Crime Prevention Bureau to enhance mutual understanding and to share best practices.
The HTA is responsible for the training of Home Team Departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs, including disciplined services and Ministry Headquarters. The delegation comprised HTA staff and participants of the Home Team Senior Command and Staff Course, which is a pinnacle programme to prepare participants for appointment to the Directorate in their departments.
