"Project Eyes & Ears" forges closer ties with industries
The Tai Po Industrial Estate is one of the major industrial areas in Hong Kong, where a number of major industrial plants are situated. To prevent crime at the estate, Tai Po District (TPDIST) is maintaining a close working relationship with the security managers of the plants.
Recently, TPDIST officers visited the Hong Kong and China Gas' production plant at the industrial estate and met with the Corporate Administration Manager and the Security Manager to discuss security of the plant. TPDIST also took the opportunity to introduce the objectives and strategies of its "Project Eyes and Ears".
Praising TPDIST for its initiatives in fighting and preventing crime, the company pledged full support for "Project Eyes & Ears". It also noted that the project would benefit not only the company but also the overall security situation at Tai Po Industrial Estate.
