Yuen Long Youth Festival Fun Run
The eight-km Fun Run of the Yuen Long Youth Festival jointly organised by Yuen Long District Council, Home Affairs Department and Yuen Long Town Hall to celebrate the 91st Anniversary of the "May Fourth Movement", was held on the Wetland Park Road in Tin Shui Wai on June 6, attracting 1,500 runners supporting the festival's theme of "Healthy Life and Sports". Officiating at the start of the run was Yuen Long District (YLDIST) Commander Li Kin-fai.
The runners came from 18 teams fielded by government departments and non-governmental organisations, including the YLDIST Team and Junior Police Call Team, both led by Tin Shui Wai Divisional Commander Wai Hang-mo.
Besides YLDIST, the Tin Shui Wai Police Volunteers Team and JPC members lent logistic support throughout the Fun Run.
