CCB officer takes third title in Police squash

Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) Senior Inspector (SIP) Hui Hong-kit, a gold medallist at the World Police and Fire Games 2009, emerged as the overall victor at the 2010 Police Squash - Closed Championships on May 14, beating Police Constable (PC) (Auxiliary) Ho Chu-him of Waterfront Division (Auxiliary) in the Main event final by 3-0, and winning the championships for the third consecutive year.

In the Plate event final, SIP Lau Shing-chung of Crime Mong Kok District took the trophy after edging out Sergeant Leung Chi-man of Traffic New Territories South in five exhausting games.

In the Chairman's Cup final, PC Lai Kwok-wai of Marine West Division beat PC Li Kin-wah of Western District by 3-1, while retired SIP Mak Kam-yuen displaced PC Leung Man-wah of Tsang Kwan O Division by 3-2 to take the plate.

In an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports among Force members, the Police Squash Club will run a training course for beginners at PSRC every Tuesday evening, starting from next month. Those interested may contact Mr William Siu at williamsiucm@yahoo.com.hk.
