Visa International has presented the "Law Enforcement Award 2010" to Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) in appreciation of CCB officers' dedication to and efforts in combating payment card fraud between 2009 and 2010. This is the second consecutive year CCB has won the award. Chief Superintendent (CSP) Cheung Kwai-kee and Senior Superintendent Man Chi-hung of CCB attended the "Visa International Security Summit 2010" in Hanoi, Vietnam, from June 2 to 3. Also present at the conference were around 300 representatives from the payment card and banking industries and law enforcement officers from Asia Pacific, Central Europe, Middle East and Africa. The summit provided a platform for the delegates to get updated on the latest trends of security and risk management and fraud in the payment card industry. It also gave the delegates an excellent opportunity to share experience and good practices with other overseas law enforcement agencies and reinforce international collaboration in fighting transnational and organised crimes. During the summit, Head of Risk (Asia Pacific) of Visa International, Mr Michael Smith, presented the "Law Enforcement Award 2010" to CSP Cheung for CCB's professionalism in and contribution to combating counterfeit payment card activities last year.
