Eulogy
Delivering the eulogy, PC Chan Chi-ho of Tin Shui Wai Division Task
Force Sub-unit reminisced about the fun he had with PC Leung during
their numerous angling trips. The following is part of the eulogy.
"We share a passion for angling, and during the past eight years, we
have had hundreds of angling trips far and near. He was a good angler
and had a dream for his hobby. At the end of a trip, he would clean up
the place and let go the smaller fishes.
"He like angling but fish wasn't his cup of tea. I find this a bit odd.
Ting-lun sometimes brought along his father or father-in-law on his
angling trips. He was really a good son.
"After his wife had given birth to their son, Ting-lun became more
resolute in his approach to angling. He would not return home
empty-handed and always managed to bring back some fish for his family.
He was a good father and always spoke of his son while angling.
"Ting-lun also liked photography, Gold Fish and basketball. What we've
shared with him are only some of the highlights of his life. Being a
candid person and having a sense of humour and a good temper, he had
made many friends, and was well liked by those who know him. We'll for
ever remember his name, his smile and the things he had done as a
police officer, a colleague and a friend."
