Kwun Tong presented with banners
The Task Force Sub-unit in Kwun Tong Division has rolled out a programme to forge a closer liaison with the business sector for preventing and fighting crime, particularly pick-pocketing at shopping malls.
Thanks to this programme, the task force had neutralised a pickpocket syndicate comprising a man and three women. The pickpockets were subsequently each jailed for six months.
As a token of appreciation for the task force’s efforts, representatives of the management office of the apm Shopping Mall, recently called at Kwun Tong Police Station and presented banners to the Task Force Sub-unit, which were received by District Commander Chiu Kai-ting.
