Accompanying the IPCC Members on the visit were Director of Management Services Tang How-kong, Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Wong Fook-chuen and Complaints and Internal Investigations Branch (C&IIB) Chief Superintendent Duncan McCosh.

KW Regional Commander Fan Sik-ming greeted the members at Kowloon West Regional Headquarters and had a discussion with the members at lunch. Afterwards, the IPCC members visited Kowloon City Magistracy and Kowloon Regional Command and Control Centre. Following the visits, they met more than 50 KW officers in an open forum, where Mr Jat explained the roles of IPCC and emphasised fairness in complaint investigations.

C&IIB will continue to organise similar visits for the members to get a better idea of police work and listen to the views of frontline officers.
