Dear
Sir,
My father passed away at Ruttonjee Hospital in the early morning of December 16. PC Li was on duty that early morning. He was the model of courtesy, politeness and sensitivity to my mother and me in our time of distress. Sgt. Ng took our statement, and later Sgt Wong and his team visited our house to check out the death scene. They were all unfailingly polite and very caring. The next day PC Li helped my mother and me at the Victoria Public Mortuary for the positive ID of my father's body and interview with the Forensic Pathologist. He was most helpful and explained everything to us. PC Li was an impressive representative of the HK Police Force. My father was a Supreme Court Judge and Hong Kong's first Ombudsman and he would have been proud of the dedication and caring shown by your officers. Thank you for your kind help and assistance in this difficult time for my mother and I. Sincerely,
R. Garcia (Editor's Note: The officers mentioned in this letter are SSgt Wong Kwok-ho from Happy Valley Division and, SSgt Ng Chi-wai and PC Li Polen both from Wan Chai Division)
