RMPU KE forges closer ties for its job |

Mindful that the recent cold spells might have an impact on the problem of elderly persons reported missing, officers of Regional Missing Person Unit Kowloon East (RMPU KE), with the assistance of Regional Crime Prevention Office Kowloon East, took part in the seminars held by the Link Management Limited for its security staff in December last year and January this year. At the seminars, the officers introduced the setup and work of their unit; the factors that account for elderly persons reported missing and the related statistics. These presentations were aimed at encouraging security personnel to take part in community affairs by helping the police tackle the problem of missing elderly persons. The seminars also saw exchanges in views, experiences and the ways to more effectively handle cases of missing elderly persons.
