Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung officiated at the starting ceremony of the half marathon race of the annual Standard Chartered Marathon on February 20, and cheered on Force members participating in various events of the marathon. For this year's marathon, the Police Athletics Club (PAC) continued coordinating officers' participation in the race for the Most Supportive Award. As a result, more than 700 Force members took part and won the fifth place of the award. The PAC has expressed special thanks to Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch for sponsoring the running vests for Force runners with the Healthy Life Fund and encouraging Force members to take part. Police Constable Lai Hok-yan secured the 9th place in the Men's Senior full marathon race and was the first local runner crossing the finishing point. Clerical Assistant Lee Yin-ping won the fourth place of the Ladies Master I half marathon. In team category, the Force clinched the second place of the Disciplined Forces Cup event. Commissioner
