PHC joins Hockey Festival
The Police Hockey Club (PHC), a regular participant of the annual Royal Bangkok Sports Club Hockey Festival, took part in the 38th Hockey Festival held in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 4 and 5, last year. The Police Ladies Hockey Team, comprising both regular and auxiliary officers, gave a very credible account of themselves against teams from Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Australia.
The hockey season normally runs from September to May. The PHC will field teams for both the men's and ladies' open leagues run by the Hong Kong Hockey Association, and is recruiting new members. Officers wanting to know more about the sport may contact Police Constable Law Tsz-shing on 9441-9077 for Men's Team, or Woman Police Constable Yu Pui-shan on 9239-0093 for Ladies Team. Alternatively they may approach the PHC Booth at the next Physical Fitness and Health Management Carnival.
