US delegation calls on CP
A delegation led by retired Lieutenant General Ed Smith, Director of Asia Pacific Centre for Security Studies (APCSS), paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung on March 31. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Commissioner (Management) Lee Ka-chiu, Director of Personnel and Training Ma Wai-luk and Police College Director Kevin Woods.
At a meeting with Mr Woods and Police College staff, the delegation also discussed best practices in training delivery and both sides explored opportunities for further collaboration.
APCSS is an academic institute of the US Department of Defence. Since 2006, APCSS has offered training places to Force officers at the ranks of Chief Inspector to Assistant Commissioner.
