Kowloon East (KE) Region introduced an Integrity Ambassador Programme in 2009 for cultivating an ethical culture and promoting a corruption-free work environment. Building on the success of the first programme, KE Region rolled out the second programme on March 17.

Under the programme, integrity management programmes and related activities for KE Formations will be organised and promoted, and opinions or feedback on the related issues of the Force Values would be reflected and, more importantly, the Integrity Ambassadors will serve as role models for their colleagues. As an essential part of the programme, a Chief Inspector has been nominated in each District or Formation to lead frontline officers to form an Integrity Ambassadors Team.

To provide the Integrity Ambassadors with knowledge of integrity management, KE Region and the Community Relations Department of ICAC have jointly compiled an Integrity Ambassador Training Guideline, which contains the Force's Integrity Management Strategy, frontline case studies, relevant laws and internal orders.

At an Integrity Ambassador Workshop on March 17, ICAC Regional Officer (Kowloon East/Sai Kung), Mrs Tam Cheung Kwei-ying, and ICAC Senior Community Relations Officer, Ms Ming Yuen-man, gave talks on integrity management for coaching the Integrity Ambassadors to effectively carry out their missions in Districts and Formations.
