CIB hosts seminar for triad, gambling experts
Criminal Intelligence Bureau (CIB) held the first of its biannual seminar for 2011 for members of the Force Triad Expert Cadre and Gambling Expert Cadre at Police Sports and Recreation Club on March 18 and 25 respectively. The seminar provided a forum for the cadre members to update themselves on triad and gambling matters through lectures and experience sharing.
At the seminar, CIB Chief Superintendent So Kam-sing praised the cadre members' continued commitment and efforts and presented appreciation letters to those who made significant contributions to the Force in the past year.
The cadre members, who are at the ranks Senior Superintendent to Police Constable, perform their secondary duty at various formations. As experts in their respective fields, they readily support frontline officers and other government departments with their expertise of handling triad and gambling cases.
