RC Marine congratulates officers on their promotion
Regional Commander (RC) Marine Lau Yip-shing attended as guest of honour the traditional "Pai Kwan Tei" and "Pai Tin Hau" ceremony which was held at Marine Harbour Divisional Base on June 3.
Congratulating the officers, Sergeants Leung Chung-yin, Ng Hung-kwan, Chan Tin-ho and Yu Wai-lung, on their promotion and praising them for the efforts they had made, Mr Lau reminded them of their heavier responsibilities on the way. "Whether on or off duty, you are required to set good examples to others and pay attention to your personal conduct at all times. You need to uphold your own and the Force's image and reputation by complying with the 'Four-Way Values' judgement and following the 'Integrity and Honesty' behavioural guidelines," he told the promotees.
Mr Lau also pointed out that "maintaining effective internal communications" and "enhancing integrity management" are two of the most important Management Priorities of the 2011 Marine Region Action Plan.
