The competition comprised distance shootings (10m, 15m, 20m), position shootings (single-handed, two-handed, kneeling) and barricade shooting. Contestants competed for awards for categories of Uniform Branch (Team/Individual), Crime (Team/Individual), Open Revolver (Team/Individual), Open Pistol (Team/Individual), Auxiliary (Team/Individual), Fung Siu Yuen Cup and Inter-Disciplined Services Competition.

Apart from enjoying a fair and open contest, the shooters were able to share with each other the knowledge and skills of the shooting sport.

At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Police Shooting Club, Mr Fan Sik-ming, thanked the volunteer workers of his club, as well as officers from the Force and other Disciplined Services for their support and contribution to the competition.
