At the invitation of Police College, Ms Teresa Au, Head of Corporate Sustainability, Asia Pacific Region of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd (HSBC), spoke on Corporate Sustainability at a Management Development Programme (MDP) seminar at Police Headquarters on June 21. In her talk, Ms Au introduced the concept of Corporate Sustainability at HSBC and its success in benefiting the company, society and environment. She also explained in detail her bank's strategies in carrying out Footprint Management, Community Investment, Sustainable Business and Diversity and Inclusion. The talk provided the Force with an insight and different perspectives whilst promoting the Social Responsibility concept as well as a discussion platform for charting the Force's way forward. The seminar was well received by more than 100 participants, including police officers and civilian staff, who enjoyed the talk and actively took part in a question-and-answer session to benefit from Ms Au's precious experience.
