Organised Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) and Police College have jointly produced a 16-minute training video to familiarise frontline investigators with the referral mechanism with the Macau Judicial Police. The Force and the Macau Judicial Police have been operating the fast track referral mechanism since February 2009 to tackle casino-related loan-sharking activities in Macau. Under the mechanism, the Force will refer to the Macau Judicial Police cases, in which the victims are willing to make reports in Macau and assist the Judicial Police with investigations. Officers of the Force will even escort the victims to Macau. Details of the referral mechanism have been incorporated in FPM 27-17 Annex J.
