NTKDIV combats quick cash crimes
To tie in with the Force Strategic Direction on "Engaging the Community", Ngau Tau Kok Division (NTKDIV) maintains close liaison with the shop owners and security staff of large shopping malls with a view to combatting quick cash crimes.
With the onset of summer vacation, it is anticipated that crowded shopping malls would be prone to crimes. Therefore, NTKDIV held a "Combatting Quick Cash Crime" seminar for the security staff of the shopping malls in Kowloon Bay. Other than highlighting the crime trend and the common modus operandi of pickpocketing, there were case studies and discussion to enhance knowledge of this type of crime. NTK Divisional Commander Chui Po-chu was on hand to emphasis the importance of partnership in preventing and fighting crime. .
