Dear
Sir,
I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the professionalism of PC 22800 of Traffic New Territories South who rendered me great assistance in Route No. 3 above the container port when my car broke down on Sunday, 21st August 2011. It was early morning around 8.30 am when the front tyre of my car flattened while I was on my way to Lantau Island. Whilst I was trying to summon assistance, PC 22800 on his motorcycle passed by and stopped behind my car on the emergency lane. I was just expecting him to divert other road traffic to avoid any accident but upon knowing that my tyre flattened, he immediately offered to change the spare tyre for me instead of letting me waiting hopelessly for any assistance from the garage in the Sunday morning. It was a hot and humid day but PC 22800 sweated himself and got his hands dirty in offering his kind assistance, which is more than I expect from a traffic police officer. I am very much impressed by his sincere attitude, which is certainly an example for others. His professionalism displayed also helps to project the positive image of the Hong Kong Police. I would be grateful if you would convey my sincere appreciation to the officer concerned for a job professionally done. Ms
Wong
(Editor's Note: the officer praised in this letter is PC Wong Chi-kan of E&C NTS)
