CP renews MOU with Cambodia

Signing the MOU were Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung and the Commissioner General of the Cambodian National Police (CNP), Mr Savoeun Neth.
The agreement, signed during Mr Tsang's visit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, complements the existing co-operation between the Force and CNP and sets out the framework for tackling transnational crimes and reinforcing the partnership in capacity-building and professional development.
Following the signing ceremony, Mr Tsang held a meeting with senior CNP officers on policing issues of mutual concern.
"Renewal of the MOU marks commencement of enhanced co-operation between the two forces. Both sides are committed to assisting each other in practical term of policing," Mr Tsang noted.
Mr Tsang also paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr H.E. SAR Kheng, who reiterated the importance of police co-operation.
Mr Tsang was accompanied on the visit by a five-member delegation, including Director of Personnel and Training Ma Wai-luk.
