Police premises obtain Indoor Air Quality Awards
Police Civil Secretary Elaine Chan Wong Yan-lan received, on behalf of the Force, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Excellent/Good Class Certificates from the Permanent Secretary for the Environment and Director of Environmental Protection, Ms Anissa Wong, in the Indoor Air Quality Certificate Award Ceremony 2011 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 27.
The ceremony was held to recognise and commend the efforts of organisations in achieving better IAQ and participating in the IAQ Certification Scheme.
In 2011, the Central District Headquarters and Divisional Police Station, and Tuen Mun Wu Hong Police Quarters obtained Excellent Class IAQ Certificate, while Arsenal House West Wing and Auxiliary Police Headquarters received Good Class IAQ Award.
The Force will continue to select eligible police premises to participate in the IAQ Certification Scheme to show its commitment to securing good indoor air quality for staff.
