Police Public Relations Branch organised the second sharing session for frontline officers and media representatives at Police Headquarters on March 9. The session provided a platform for both parties to share experiences and understand better each other's job.

With the assistance of the Hong Kong Journalists Association, a total of 23 representatives from 15 media organisations and associations attended the session. Kwai Tsing District Assistant District Commander (Crime) Chan Wai-ming, Chief Inspector Chan Sze-man from Emergency Unit New Territories North and Chief Inspector (Enforcement & Control) Peter Ip from Traffic Hong Kong Island shared their working experiences with the participants.

Regular exchange meetings with media representatives aim to build trust through communication with a view to enhancing future co-operation under mutual understanding. The first session was held in October 2011.
