Police Boxing Club recruits new blood
The more you sweat, the less you bleed. This is essentially the key to training if one wants to be a successful boxer and is also the message the Police Boxing Club tries to get across in its weekly training sessions held at New Territories North Headquarters in Tai Po. The results speak for themselves with medals picked up by almost all of the club's boxers in four successive appearances at the World Police and Fire Games over the last eight years.
The best-equipped gym in Asia is also the home of boxing for Operation Breakthrough. So if Force members want to get fitter than they have ever been before, and support a very meaningful charity, sign up to represent the police in one of the four events the Police Boxing Club hosts every year.
