Force attends INTERPOL Heads of NCB Conference |

Five officers from Crime Wing attended the 8th INTERPOL Annual Heads of National Central Bureaus (NCB) Conference in Lyon, France, in March as part of the delegation of NCB China. The NCB China delegation was headed by Director of INTERPOL Division, NCB China, Mr Jiang Shui. Other members of the delegation included the contact officers from the INTERPOL Division, Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, and Macao Judiciary Police. This year, a total of 270 delegates from 148 member countries attended the conference between March 13 and 15 to share good practices and exchange valuable information. The conference also served as a forum for enhancing international collaboration in fighting transnational organised crimes. The highlight of this year's conference was "Cybercrime". During the conference, the Force delegation took the opportunity to reinforce the partnership and co-operation with its overseas counterparts and reiterated the Force's commitment and determination to pursue international co-operation for policing. The Force, as a sub-bureau of NCB China, will continue to work closely with INTERPOL to combat transnational criminal activities. |
